Happy Birthday Hank!!!

Today is Hank's 3rd Birthday!! He is finally getting to the point where he is excited for his birthday this year. He has been excited and waiting for it for about a week or so now. Hank is such a fun kid. He always has to be doing something. He loves parties or anything exciting. He is also always fidgety and nervous. All of the uncles love to scare and tease him because they know they will always get a good reaction out of him.

Trick-or-Treat

We had a fun Halloween this year. Hank was a pirate and Case was a chicken. Hank thought it was pretty cool to go trick or treating and get candy.
I think our chicken was coming to meet the new rooster.

Hank loved being a pirate. I think mostly because he got to carry around a sword all night and wear a hat. He even learned to say Arrr Matey!

Craft Fair

My sister, Bessie, and me are doing a booth at a craft fair this weekend. It has been a lot of fun and A LOT of work preparing for it. We would love for anyone in the area to come check it out. It is on Saturday, October 29 from 10-5 at the Minico High School in Rupert. It is a really good craft fair, and there is always lots of cute stuff. Here is a preview of just a FEW things we are going to have in our booth. Jake made a bunch of shelves. There are a bunch of different sizes, styles and colors.

Dirty

It's amazing to me how Hank can get SO Dirty So Fast!!!
We were outside today for less than 5 minutes and when I looked over at Hank this is what I saw. He was completely covered in dirt. He is definitely all boy. He loves to play outside. It seems the dirtier he is the more fun he is having.

Horsey Ride

It's too bad Dash isn't big enough to ride yet, cause I think Jake is getting tired of being the horse. But Hank and Case sure love it!

Dash

When Jake decided earlier this summer that he now likes to ride horses he also decided to build a horse pen so we could get one of our own. He set all of the poles himself and had the neighbor kid help him weld it. It turned out pretty good. But the most exciting part is ...............

We now have a horse in the pen. Well he is just a colt so we can't ride him yet, but he is soo cute. The first few days he was kinda nervous and wouldn't let us touch him too much, but now he comes right up and will let us pet him. We named him Dash. I don't know who likes him more, Hank or Jake. They will both sit out there with Dash for hours.

Mini Family Vacation

Last weekend we went on kind of a mini family vacation. We got to Idaho Falls in the evening and walked along the trail by the waterfalls in front of the temple then we headed back to the hotel for some swimming. The next morning we went to bear world and then spent the rest of the day at the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot. It was good to get out and do something fun even if it was just for one night.

At bear world you drive your car through a big area where they have a ton of bears. They are right on the side of the road and some were even walking on the road right next to our car. We all thought it was pretty cool, except for Hank. Well he thought it was cool, but he was scared to death that the bears were going to get us. He like the petting zoo much better. Hank LOVES animals, so he was in heaven.

Sonya and her girls came also came up to the fair, I didn't get any pictures, but we had fun walking around looking at all of the animals and booths. And seeing Harli's cute 4-H projects she entered in the fair.

17 Miracles

Yesterday was mine and Jake's anniversary. 4 YEARS! It's crazy how fast time goes. Anyways to celebrate we went to the theater here in Burley to see the new church movie 17 Miracles. I just wanted to give it a shout out and say if you get the chance you should totally go see it. Or if you can't make it to the theater trust me you won't regret buying it when it comes out on video. I think this is the best church movie I have ever seen. We both loved it.

Fishing

Last week we went to Thousand Springs with some of our family. The guys took the canoes and went fishing while the ladies stayed and watched the kids play in the water. They came back with a lot of fish. We had a lot of fun.

Happy Birthday Case!

August 4th was Case's 1st Birthday! I can't believe he is 1 already. Look how little he used to be. For his birthday we had a bbq with family. For his cake I bought a giant cupcake pan and made two of them. I think they turned out pretty cute.
